1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to CareConnect PH ("we," "our," "us," or "the Platform"). By creating an account or using any part of our web application at careconnect-ph-a97fb.web.app and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and CareConnect PH, operated as a sole proprietorship based in the Philippines.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to use the Service:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a resident of, or lawfully present in, the Republic of the Philippines;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Philippine law;
- Not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law or previously suspended by us.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account Types
We offer two account types:
- Client Account — for individuals looking to hire service providers.
- Provider Account — for professionals and workers offering services (e.g., plumbers, electricians, caregivers, cleaners).
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@careconnect-ph.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.
3.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide and maintain accurate, current, and complete information in your profile, including your real name, valid phone number, and (for providers) true credentials and qualifications.
4. Our Service
CareConnect PH is an online platform that connects clients with independent service providers. We facilitate discovery, communication, and agreements between the two parties.
We are not:
- An employer of any provider;
- A party to any service agreement formed between a client and a provider;
- A guarantor of the outcome, quality, safety, or legality of any service performed;
- Licensed to provide any specific trade service (plumbing, electrical, medical caregiving, etc.) on our own account.
All services are provided by independent third parties operating as self-employed individuals or businesses.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information;
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes under Philippine law;
- Treat other users respectfully and professionally;
- Honor commitments and agreements you make through the Platform;
- Report abuse, fraud, or inappropriate behavior promptly;
- Comply with all applicable local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not, under any circumstances:
- Create a fake account or impersonate another person;
- Post fraudulent, illegal, or misleading service offers or requests;
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against any user;
- Use the Service to solicit sexual services, illegal drugs, or any illegal activity;
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code;
- Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse Platform data;
- Circumvent our fees (once introduced) by transacting off-platform after being matched through CareConnect PH;
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertisements.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund or prior notice.
7. Provider Terms
If you register as a provider, you additionally agree that:
- You are an independent contractor, not an employee of CareConnect PH;
- You are solely responsible for your own taxes, insurance, permits, and licenses required to perform your services under Philippine law;
- You will perform services professionally and to industry standards;
- You authorize us to display your profile, ratings, and reviews to potential clients;
- You may be required to undergo identity verification before accepting tasks;
- We do not guarantee any minimum volume of work, matches, or earnings.
8. Client Terms
If you register as a client, you agree that:
- Any service agreement is between you and the provider directly — CareConnect PH is not a party;
- You are responsible for evaluating a provider's suitability before engaging their services;
- You will pay providers the agreed amount for services rendered;
- You will not hold CareConnect PH responsible for provider conduct, service quality, damage, delay, or loss.
9. Payments & Fees
CareConnect PH is currently free to use for both clients and providers. No platform fees, subscriptions, or commissions are charged at this time.
In the future, we may introduce optional paid features, subscription tiers, or transaction fees. Any such changes will be announced in advance, and continued use after the effective date will constitute acceptance of the new fee structure.
Payments for services performed are arranged directly between clients and providers. We do not currently process payments on your behalf.
10. Platform Role & Limitation of Liability
CareConnect PH is a connector, not a guarantor. We provide tools that help users find each other — we do not perform, supervise, direct, or vouch for the underlying services.
10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, CareConnect PH, its owner, and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities;
- Damage arising from services performed (or not performed) by any provider;
- Injury, theft, or property damage caused by any user or provider;
- Disputes between clients and providers;
- Any loss exceeding one thousand Philippine pesos (₱1,000) or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Philippine law.
11. Intellectual Property
The CareConnect PH name, logo, branding, website design, source code, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to CareConnect PH and are protected under Philippine and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to content you post (such as profile information, photos, and messages), but by posting you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account through the Profile page, or by contacting us at contact@careconnect-ph.com.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that you have:
- Violated these Terms;
- Engaged in fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful conduct;
- Created a risk of legal exposure to CareConnect PH or other users;
- Remained inactive for an extended period.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability limitations and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal resolution — you agree to first contact us at contact@careconnect-ph.com and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 30 days.
- Venue — if informal resolution fails, any action shall be filed exclusively in the competent courts of the city or province where CareConnect PH's owner is based, subject to Philippine rules of court.
- Barangay conciliation — to the extent required by the Katarungang Pambarangay Law (P.D. 1508, as amended), parties must first submit applicable disputes to the appropriate Lupong Tagapamayapa.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page;
- Post a notice on the Platform or send you an email notification;
- Give you a reasonable opportunity to review the changes before they take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
